Being stainless steel, which has a lower tensile strength than regular steel, the nipples and spokes must be greased for proper seating and preloaded with a much higher torque to allow for stretching. The end result is a nice clean wheel that won't rust. The 66 Bonnie is slowly coming together though!

I picked up the bike out in South Hampton, where it sat in a mocked up state. The frame had been sand blasted and the original tank and front fender were missing. These "Amanda" models are rumored to have been Vincents demise, as the fiberglass melted on some and may or may not have caused a drowning or two. I was selling a bike to a friend and Brent was getting a tag for his 1971 Harley Sporter. Interesting feature on this bike, both the gear shifter and rear brake pedal are on the right hand side of the bike. Apparently the previous guy who owned it had a prosthetic leg and had this modified to allow his good leg to work both pedals.
