2010 Chadds Ford Vintage Bike Auction preview

I stopped by the Chadds Ford Auction today and snapped a few pictures of some of the more interesting bikes. The Auction will take place tomorrow (April 18 2010). See you there!

30's? era Harley or Indian. Not sure.

71 Norton Commando

Benelli Cafe Racer

Harley Aermacchi (50cc?)

Early Harley

Yamaha RD350 Road Racer (Nice!)

The prize of the show. Restored Harley.

1960's BMW, a little rough.

Another Harley Aermacchi. I really dig these little bikes.

BSA 441 Victor Special. Very nice!

Triumph TR-6C. 1968 I think.

A pair of rare Allstate scooters (before Piaggio licensed the Vespa to sears)

Fully restored Vellocette

Vintage tools of the trade.

Honda CB740 cafe/Clubman

Triumph (?) basket case)

1960's fully restored Bonnie.

Triumph Flat Tracker

Rumi road racer. Very clean and tidy.

Should be a good turn out, looking forward to the auction.

  1. That basket case takes the prize---can't believe anyone would put down their hard-earned cash for that jigsaw puzzle! ;-)

  4. Secure your eyes and face: When riding a motorcycle, twist blowing in your eyes can keep you from spotting potential street risks, and creepy crawlies, flotsam and jetsam and residue can hurt your face and eyes. Legitimate riding gear incorporates a full-confront protective cap with an implicit face shield.cam straps
